I honestly don’t even know what word to use for my latest news. Sad, funny, or absurd. They bring me letters: - Anything from my wife? - Removed by the censors. - Any documents from my lawyer? - Removed by the censors. - So what is there? - Something from the investigator. I open the letter from the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee: “I hereby inform you that a criminal case has been opened against you on the grounds of an offense under Part 2 of Article 214 of the Russian Criminal Code. Two counts.” So yes, they really do open a new criminal case against me every three months. Never before has a convicted prisoner, sitting in solitary confinement for more than a year, led such a busy public and political life. I have no idea what Article 214 is, and there’s nowhere for me to look it up. You’ll find out before I do. But in any case, let’s treat this as what scientists call positive feedback. If this Kremlin gang of corrupt officials, traitors, and occupiers doesn’t like something that I (we) am doing, then I must be doing it right.
