The Kremlin’s PR operatives made a rather funny video in which I promote the amendments. It’s well done, and I’m using it to draw your attention once again to this: this “vote” is a forgery, a parody, and a fake. There is neither independent monitoring nor any way to challenge the results. The outcome has already been announced through court sociologists — 72% “in favor.” I do not recognize these amendments and refuse to accept that my country’s fundamental law can be adopted through a “vote” held out of car trunks, in tents, and on tree stumps.
