Not just to survive, but to start running again. That’s the best possible plan. I’m getting started—wish me luck. ⠀ The doctors told me that one of the reasons I didn’t die was that I was in good physical shape. I ran. I suffered, but I ran. And it wasn’t for nothing. ⠀ Today I’m going to try running again for the first time. Before this, I tried running for 5 and 7 minutes just to feel the movement, but now I want to start properly. Just slowly. My left leg still feels slightly “frozen”; the doctors say: wait, it should pass. I hope running helps. ⠀ I’ll post updates here on how it’s going. And you should start too—running is only awful at first, and then it’s okay. And after a while, you’ll actually start to miss it. Plus, if you ever get poisoned with chemical weapons, it might save your life!
