"Alexei Navalny called for a violent change of the constitutional order; investigators are reviewing his radio appearance." I see this headline in my Twitter feed and think: this must be some old story. Some United Russia members regularly file complaints and demand that I be jailed for criticizing the authorities, but I haven’t been on the radio for several months. ⠀ But no. It’s all correct. Putin, sitting in his bunker, so badly does not want me to return to Russia after recovering that, on top of threats to jail me for treason (I betrayed the Motherland by not dying when I was poisoned on the orders of the Bunker Grandpa), he has decided to add a criminal extremism case. They dug up a broadcast on Echo of Moscow from as long as 7 months ago (!) and are now "reviewing" it. (slide 2 of the carousel) ⠀ On air, I was speaking in support of our "5 Steps for Russia" campaign. I demanded that as early as April 2020 (and then repeated it in June), every adult be given 20,000 rubles and 10,000 rubles per child. Utility charges and housing-and-communal-services fees should be canceled for the duration of the lockdown, and small businesses should be supported. ⠀ Now, from the vantage point of December 2020, it is obvious that this was an absolutely correct program. Families and businesses impoverished by the pandemic still need it now. ⠀ I reread that interview and I think I understand what exactly they are reviewing there. The host asked (slide 3 of the carousel): what would you say to our listener who says that the authorities will deliberately refuse to support people so as not to carry out your program and not to give you political points? My answer: ⠀ "I’ve heard that opinion. But you know, if our government is such that, just to avoid doing something that would benefit me, they are willing to leave 60 million people hungry, then that government absolutely must be overthrown right now, quite possibly even by force." ⠀ Well, of course that’s what I think. A government willing to leave people hungry just so as not to "play into the hands of" a particular politician must be overthrown. Because this is a government of enemies of the people. They think only about themselves, their wealth, and their positions. ⠀ Is that extremism? Fine, open a case. Let me remind you that according to every opinion poll, 85% of Russian citizens supported my "5 Steps" program. So they’re all extremists. ⠀ A brief message to the Bunker Grandpa is on the fourth slide of the carousel.
