Yesterday, my column was published in @TIME magazine, including a section about my dad’s prison conditions. Today, he had a court hearing over being denied winter boots. Can you imagine?! In the 21st century, a prisoner in Russia has to go to court just to be issued winter footwear! Thank you all for your kind words, support, and for sharing the column. I wrote it not only because I want to stand by the sea like that again and chat with my dad. Although I really, really do. The main thing is that an innocent person should be free.
