Yesterday, missile developer Boris Obnosov, his daughter Olga Zorikova, and his son-in-law Rostislav Zorikov were added to the Czech sanctions list. This is an important victory. In May, we published an investigation about them (link in Stories). Boris Obnosov heads Tactical Missiles Corporation, the country’s largest defense holding company. Despite the war, his family continued to live in the Czech Republic and own real estate there worth €8 million. Their assets will now be frozen, and they will be barred from entering the Czech Republic. Thanks to ACF’s (Anti-Corruption Foundation) investigations team and lawyers, as well as everyone who helped. We achieved this together. Many thanks to the Czech authorities for making such an important decision. We very much hope that the authorities of other countries will take note of it.
