Ever since "Kommersant" bolted its online edition onto LiveJournal (a Russian blogging platform), the site has become completely unusable. It glitches, freaks out, won’t let you open several windows at once, freezes, and crashes. I’m thinking about going back to reading the print edition. Though the thought of piles of waste paper in every corner of the office is pretty daunting. If there’s an interesting article on the site, you just save it. But what if it’s on paper? It’s not like you’re going to keep those nasty, dusty, yellowing clippings.
