Sneaky comment spammers have found a new way to promote their sites. Today I got a comment from a bot: Your post has been featured on the blog review pages of some information-and-analysis project (I’m not going to give the link). So I went and looked out of curiosity. They write complete nonsense, but they’ve come up with a pretty effective promotional tool. It’s quite likely that some not-too-bright bloggers will be happy to appear on the pages of an "information-and-analysis project." And that means clicks and links. I banned the bot, of course.
