I stuck with McCain until the very end, though mostly out of inertia by that point. By the end of the campaign, Mac had become an obvious batshit freak. And after Georgia, I didn’t feel like supporting him at all anymore. As neznaika_nalune aptly wrote, Perestroika is beginning in America (the Soviet-era reform campaign under Gorbachev). Presumably with all the mandatory parts of the program: Acceleration, Glasnost, Peace Initiatives, State Acceptance. We’ll see how it goes.
