People laughed and shared links. For that alone, I could even forgive Shcherbakov his habit of calling drunk at three in the morning with questions like, "Alexei, how would you comment on the fact that your colleague Yashin is gay but doesn't want to date me?" (Yashin actually had it worse. For obvious reasons, he couldn't laugh it off quite so cheerfully and would instead scream like mad at Shcherbakov into the phone.) Now they're writing some utterly basic nonsense. I was never a deputy of the National Assembly. It's a lie, and not even a funny one. No imagination. But the National Assembly's decision itself to condemn the dispersal of the Russian March was absolutely the right one. Kasparov did well.
