Wow. Boris Fyodorov has died.
Still a young man. He was 51. Just the day before yesterday, I was talking about him with someone who knew him very well. I wanted to meet him and ask in more detail about his fight with Gazprom back in the days when Fyodorov represented minority shareholders. Later, though, B. F. stopped representing minority shareholders and joined Gazprom’s board of directors. But that hardly matters now. He was a complicated figure, but an impressive one. By the way, he was the first public national democrat in modern Russia.
