Out of sheer vanity, I subscribed to Yandex News for the query “Navalny.” Today an insanely great news item came in: Hunting migratory birds was banned in 9 regions of Ukraine 24.09.2006 - 13:45, Gazeta po-Ukrainski (a Ukrainian newspaper) Hunter Vladimir Navalny called the report about the hunting ban absurd. “My job is to bring back a bird,” said Navalny. “My job is to bring back a bird.” The words of some Ukrainian Navalny are simply a masterpiece. This phrase has everything in it. It’s the kind of thing John Wayne could have said. They should make it the magazine’s subtitle.
