Yandex Top is dying with the post "How They Carve Things Up at VTB" in first place. Which feels symbolic. What really gets me is "tactical nuclear penguin" in the search query stats. I assume that’s what the VTB people are searching for. They understand that against such a horde of LiveJournal users, only a tactical nuclear penguin can save them. Many thanks to everyone who responded and keeps responding. A whole bunch of shareholders have written in. People’s activity is encouraging. I’ll reply to each and every one of you, though it will take a little time. I’ll also work through the comments gradually. A quick scan of my inbox turned up about a dozen emails describing similarly ominous violations at various companies. I want to say right away: my friends, I’m not going to string you along. I’ll read everything carefully, but I simply do not have the capacity to take on other cases. Nobody will be happy if I take something on and then drop it a week later. Better not to start at all. Act on your own, following my example. There is nothing unique or exclusive about what I’m doing. I got a couple of very funny emails from employees of VTB and VTB Leasing. They describe the reaction of the Effective Managers to the all-out thrashing in the blogosphere. The EMs are running around nervously, carrying printouts from blogs to one another, following links, reading literally every comment. As one person vividly put it, "they’re behaving like rodents in a burning grocery shop." Once again, thanks to everyone. I hope for your continued support.
