Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, In response to the inquiry we received regarding the incident involving participants in the SMOTRA.RU car rally, we consider it necessary to clarify the situation and, on behalf of LIQUI MOLY RUS, officially state the following. We view what happened negatively; however, we ask for your understanding that LIQUI MOLY RUS cannot be held responsible for the behavior of all people who use our branding. It should also be remembered that the SMOTRA.RU project is a large community bringing together more than 200,000 internet users, and the entire club should not be judged on the basis of a single incident. Our company’s partnership with the SMOTRA.RU club has always been purely informational in nature. We provide the club with promotional and informational materials about our products. As part of this partnership, the SMOTRA.RU internet portal displays LIQUI MOLY branding on its pages and on cars. No financial support is provided to the club by L****IQUI MOLY RUS. ** In the case of the SMOTRA.RU club’s car rally, our support consisted of providing some product samples as well as promotional materials (stickers, etc.). This support was given with the best of intentions, since one of the stated goals of the rally was to help orphanages: members of the SMOTRA.RU club planned to visit several orphanages and hold events there, handing out commemorative gifts to children. LIQUI MOLY RUS did not object to the placement of its branding in this car rally, but it should be emphasized that in this case we were neither the organizers nor the sponsors of the event. ** The video posted online unpleasantly surprised us. On a human level, we cannot approve of such behavior. However, since the company is neither a sponsor nor an organizer of this car rally, we are not in a position to officially comment on what happened. /////// P.S. "planned to visit several orphanages" — that was rich. Maybe it’s for the best that they didn’t go. Who knows what might have happened if they had been greeted with the words, "Alright, please keep it down."
