A little story from the life of RosPil. In Chechnya, an auction was announced for the supply of flags with h*oliday and s**tate *symbols.
However, in the technical specifications, alongside decorative flag banners reading "Russian Federation," banners for "May 1," "March 8," and so on, it was stated that 100 decorative flag banners reading "United Russia" were also required.
So of course we filed a complaint, saying that this was, like, an improper use of budget funds, because United Russia party symbols are neither state symbols nor, thank God, holiday ones. Guess what the Chechen state procurement committee replied to us?
The phrase "United Russia" on the banner has nothing to do with the "United Russia" party. Sure, it just sounds nice and festive — United Russia. But no, it’s not about the party. After the complaint was filed with the regional office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (UFAS), the order was of course canceled (there were other violations too), but I think the story is wonderful.
