The region’s annual budget for major repairs to apartment buildings allocates 2.8 million rubles, but 4 million is being spent on a car for the boss. Have you no conscience? No conscience at all. Not Governor Karlin’s (a former prosecutor, by the way), nor that whole rotten United Russia party, which appointed him. For more than a year now, RosPil’s bill banning officials from purchasing cars costing more than 2 million rubles has been gathering dust in the State Duma (the lower house of Russia’s parliament).
