I officially announce that yesterday my candidacy for Mayor of Moscow was officially nominated.
Here is my official speech at the meeting of RPR-PARNAS, the party that officially has the right to nominate candidates.

This morning I officially went to the Moscow City Election Commission and officially signed the documents on its official steps.
After that, my documents were officially accepted, and I was issued an official certificate with a nice round stamp slapped on it.
(In the frame you can see the hands of Gorbunov, the famous and permanent chairman of the Moscow City Election Commission, a polite man who has also politely removed more candidates from elections than you have eaten pastries in your entire life.) Now I can officially begin collecting signatures from municipal deputies in order to "pass the municipal filter" (a requirement in Russian elections under which candidates must secure endorsements from local deputies). Soon I will present my official campaign platform. The official TV channels have already started commenting on it in a very amusing way. For example, NTV, commenting on the wonderful fact that the economic section of the platform will be developed by the top economists Sergei Guriev and Ekaterina Zhuravskaya, reports: In the election, Navalny will be assisted by the "fugitive economist Guriev":
Magnificent. A brilliant, though unofficial, joke on the subject immediately appeared on Twitter: *- Guriev, do you know economics? Fugitively*.
