Today I was invited to speak at the Presidium of the Association of Municipal Formations — an organization that brings together pro-government deputies, unlike the Forum of Municipal Deputies, where the independent deputies sit. Pro-government or not, they are still deputies, and since they said they would give mayoral candidates a chance to present their platforms to them (supposedly equal rights for all candidates), I decided to take that opportunity. We must do everything possible to overcome the "municipal filter" and take part in the election. So, when we arrived at today’s meeting at AMOM, Leonid Volkov, the head of my campaign staff, and I had the pleasure of witnessing a brilliant piece of political stagecraft invented by the campaign of United Russia candidate S. S. Sobyanin.

There were three nameplates on the table: Svetlana Peunova, Alexei Navalny, Sergei Troitsky (Spider).

So those were the "candidates" who had "just happened" to be "matched up." Peunova, the fighter against alien reptiles; Spider-Troitsky, accompanied by a naked woman; and "radical opposition figure Navalny." A real Trash Candidate Day.

http://youtu.be/UgI52l9CJ-I Peunova is shouting that the lizards will bite the heads off anyone who doesn’t wear a corduroy dickey, Spider is talking about utterly wild beer-filled airships over Moscow, and Navalny, blushing, is trying to squeeze in a few words about a transparent budget and the city master plan. Meanwhile, the Black Hobbit is running around all of this with a water pistol and firecrackers. The headlines in the "newspaper" Izvestia are ready too: "navalny caught in Spider’s web" and "navalny and Peunova do not enjoy Muscovites’ support, unlike Sergei Sobyanin, who is collecting signatures at tremendous speed" — along with a perfect picture for the federal TV channels. Naturally, I refused to take part in this clown show. Spider and Peunova were hired by Sobyanin’s campaign, so let them appear with him as his authorized representatives. And here’s the telling part: we took my nameplate off the table after saying I would not participate. So the resourceful AMOM staff printed a new one and put it back on the table — "for the picture." Clever, aren’t they. Here’s what I want to say to both Sobyanin and the campaign staff that organized this filth: this humiliates not even you, and not just this AMOM. It humiliates Muscovites, who want a normal election and a normal discussion of the candidates’ platforms. This is a city of 10 million people, with a 1.6 trillion-ruble budget and a million problems, and instead of solving those problems, the authorities hire clowns, spiders, and lizards from Nibiru to turn the election into a circus sideshow that nobody will come to, all so that the fraudster Sobyanin and his United Russia party can win in the first round. We are not going to let that happen so easily. I want to state once again to the Association of Municipal Formations of Moscow that I am ready to speak at its presidium, present my platform, and answer their questions. I am ready to do so as soon as they stop trying to seat me at the same table with predictors of the Apocalypse-Humanity’s Final Exam. We are doing everything we can to get through the municipal filter despite the obstruction. I personally call 50 to 60 deputies a day, not counting what the rest of the campaign staff is doing. I fully support the initiative of Shchukino deputy Maxim Katz, who has launched the "Anti-Filter" project to prevent fraud with signatures. He needs volunteers to help make calls, so join in. PS If you haven’t read my post from yesterday about the campaign staff (it went up late), read it. We will soon begin forming a volunteer штаб.
