It’s half past midnight in Moscow. A vote that should be very easy to count: one ballot, six names. 1,000 polling stations were equipped with KOIB machines (electronic ballot-scanning boxes), for which results had been promised within 20–30 minutes. It has been 4 (four) hours since the polls closed. There is still no turnout data for all polling stations. There is still no data from the KOIB machines. And yet just 5 days ago, we were firmly promised that "the preliminary results of the Moscow mayoral election would be known on September 8 at 10:00 p.m. Moscow time, and the name of the new mayor of Moscow would be announced before midnight". So what exactly is going on, dear Sergei Semyonovich and Vladimir Vladimirovich? After all, they kept insisting that the vote count would be honest. Don’t be afraid of a second round—it’s not scary.
