Many of you were deeply impressed by Ilya Barabanov's shocking investigation (barabanch) into the question, "Who really killed Alexander Litvinenko?" Now you are about to be even more shocked. We have obtained a unique video recording showing Ilya Barabanov actually gathering material for his investigation. The footage clearly shows all the famous "anonymous intelligence sources," "high-ranking FSB officers" (FSB: Russia’s Federal Security Service), and "the journalist’s sources in classified research institutes." You can see (and hear!) how skillfully Ilya coaxes them into revealing information about Litvinenko by suddenly bringing up "Sasha." The video also gives an excellent sense of Ilya Barabanov’s talent for disguise. Here, as in his other most important investigations, he is working undercover. The costume and makeup are superb. This recording could—and we are sure will!—be used as a training aid for aspiring media professionals specializing in investigative journalism. Keep it up, Ilya!
