1/8 Уже несколько дней нахожусь под большим впечатлением от новой рекламы по радио.

2/8 Радио здесь орет постоянно, его включают для того, чтоб зекам сложно было перекрикиваться. Обычные радиостанции, только рекламный блок - это местные вставки. В моем случае - реклама, которую дает бизнес Ковровского района, где находится колония.

3/8 Так вот звучит это так: «Провожаем в последний путь от лиц военных до гражданских. Участникам боевых действий и военным скидки. В час утраты звони…»

4/8 Вы представляете себе, какие потери на войне с Украиной, сколько сюда везут гробов, если даже в Коврове с населением 134 тысячи человек идёт такая ожесточенная конкурентная борьба за взлетевший рынок ритуальных услуг, что похоронные конторы начали рекламу на радио давать?

5/8 И это не где-нибудь, а на самом популярным «Русском радио», где, видимо, и самая дорогая реклама.  Вот вам роль личности в истории. В этот кошмар нас втравил один-единственный безумный дед, живущий в фантазиях о том, что он полководец, необычайно популярный в Украине.

6/8 Сейчас, конечно, и пропагандисты, и чиновники, и разнообразная прислуга яростно и демонстративно выступают за войну.

7/8 Но теперь мы уже точно знаем, что никто из них не был в курсе планов нападения и не верил в реальность настоящей войны. А многим из них война серьезно мешает, вредит тайному бизнесу и коррупционным схемам.

8/8 Ядро принятия решений: Путин - 70 лет, Патрушев - 71 год, Бортников - 71 год, а на троих 212 лет. Ну, пусть не один дед, живущий в фантазиях, а три. Суть от этого не меняется. Они вообразили себя Наполеонами, а платят за это те, кого хоронят в гробах со скидкой.

1/9 For a few days now I've been deeply impressed by a new radio ad.

2/9 The radio here is constantly shouting, they turn it on to make it harder for the convicts to communicate. It plays regular radio stations, but all the commercials are local. In my case, the commercials are from businesses in the Kovrov District, where the colony is located.

3/9 So, one commercial went like this: "We give last farewells to military personnel and civilians. Discounts for combatants and military personnel. In your hour of loss call...".

4/8 Can you imagine the death toll in the war with Ukraine, the amount of coffins that arrive from it, if even in the 134,000-large Kovrov there's such fierce competition in the booming funeral services market that funeral parlors have started to buy radio ads?

5/9 And it's not just anywhere, but on the most popular "Russian Radio", where apparently advertising is the most expensive.

6/9 So much for the role of the individual in history. We got dragged into this nightmare by a single insane old man, living in fantasies about being a great warlord and having extraordinary popularity in Ukraine.

7/9 Now, of course, propagandists, officials, and a variety of servants of the regime alike are vehemently and defiantly advocating the war.

8/9 But now we know for sure that none of them were aware of the invasion plans and did not believe in the feasibility of an actual war. And for many of them, this war is a serious hindrance, harming their secret businesses and corruption schemes.

9/9 Putin is 70 years old, Patrushev is 71, Bortnikov is 71, their combined age is 212. Okay, it's not just one old man living in fantasy, but three. The point still stands. They imagined themselves as Napoleons, and the price is paid by those who get buried at a discount.
