Imagine that: Jankauskas, whose unlawful house arrest was extended yet again today, asked in court not for extra walks or anything like that, but for permission to hold office hours for constituents (he is a deputy in the Zyuzino district) and to conduct official correspondence as a deputy, submit inquiries, and so on. More details here.
There are no victims in the case, no corpus delicti, yet the investigator says he wants to question another 1,000 donors to the election campaign across the country, and Kostya is supposed to remain under arrest. Someone else might have gotten discouraged, but he demanded the right to meet with Zyuzino residents and discuss their leaking roofs and the demolition of five-story apartment blocks. And, by the way, they allowed it.
These are the kind of deputies we need in the beautiful Russia of the future. If the Duma had even a dozen or two people like Jankauskas instead of 440 idiots, things would be so much better.
