As you may remember, I published a major investigation into the Sosny dacha cooperative, where senior figures from United Russia built palaces for themselves with money from unclear sources.
One of those officials — Sergey Neverov — sued me. It was a remarkable court case, which ended, of course, with Sergey Neverov being found completely not guinooenty.
In accordance with the ruling of the Lyublinsky District Court of Moscow, I am required to publish certain information “on the internet.”
I am complying with the court’s ruling exactly as it is worded. To do so “on the internet,” I even had to create a special website where I could post the magic words.
If you want people like me to feel ashamed, to be held accountable for their words, then share this link. Let the whole internet laugh at me and rejoice that the fair Russian court can strike back at those who recklessly accuse the country’s leaders and photograph their palaces without permission.
P.S. Many thanks to Nikolai, Maxim, and Alexander for their help with the retraction.
