Today there are elections in Balashikha and Zheleznodorozhny. The usual story: election monitors are being thrown out of polling stations, their tires are being slashed, and of course stacks of ballots are being stuffed into the boxes.
Middle-aged women are going from one polling station to another and dropping bundles of 20 to 50 ballots into the boxes. They caught one of them, and the police and election commission are helping her get away.
Though at another polling station, the police were eventually forced to detain her.
I don't understand what the problem is. Just put up photos of Putin, slogans about Crimea and fascists in Ukraine. Set out figurines of the Night Wolves (a pro-Kremlin Russian biker group) in leather pants and Timati, and win any election without ballot stuffing. After all, you've got 84%, and your rating goes up every week.
Doesn't seem to be working—apparently there's something off about that 84%.
