Soon spies will be openly walking the streets, photographing everything around them on microfilm. Our counterintelligence is doing nothing. The sensational case of “Agent Freedom” has apparently failed to interest it at all.
A reminder:
VGTRK (Russia’s state television and radio broadcaster) and Dmitry Kiselyov released a film with “proof” that I am an American and British spy. That I am taking part in an operation to destroy Russia, and that I also killed Magnitsky using officers from the Federal Penitentiary Service.
I wrote to the FSB and the Investigative Committee, saying: here is a film alleging serious crimes—espionage, murder. Investigate it and catch the spies.
Some time later, the Investigative Committee replied that they were not interested in it and were forwarding everything to the FSB.
And now the FSB has sent me a letter saying that they are forwarding everything... to the Investigative Committee, and that they are aware the complaint has been filed with the prosecutor’s office.
So, the shocking actions of Agent Freedom will not be investigated. After all, in this case only the Investigative Committee and the FSB can verify allegations of espionage and open a criminal case under Articles 144 and 145 of the Russian Criminal Procedure Code. The prosecutor’s office has nothing to do with it here.
It is clear why this is happening: the FSB and the Investigative Committee do not want to become a laughingstock or get dragged into the intrigue surrounding the defense of Prosecutor General Chaika, at whose behest, as I understand it, Kiselyov made this “spy film.” They do not want to seriously examine the “reports of American agents,” in which the authors write with mistakes in English. Nor do they want to study the footage of “Navalny in Kyiv,” which was actually shot in Moscow near Avtozavodskaya metro station.
I do not even know what to do now. How can I make the FSB fight me? After all, according to Dmitry Kiselyov, my colleagues and I already brought down the USSR as part of Operation “Shiver.” One careless move, and I will bring down Russia too. That must not be allowed.
