There is a problem. That very "ACF case," which has now been going on for three months, is being seen by all of you as a curiosity. An irritating, outrageous one, but still a curiosity.
I agree, that is exactly how it looks. All the facts surrounding the "ACF case" seem absurd.
112 investigators. Claims about 1 billion rubles laundered, instantly turning into 75 million rubles. Cash confiscated from editor Vitalik. Those idiots in black hats. Microphones and lighting stands seized as "evidence in a money-laundering case." A Spanish boxer supposedly sending us 2,000 euros. And, of course, the biggest joke of all is that there is still no underlying crime whose proceeds we were supposedly "laundering."
So it turns out that everyone seems to sympathize with us, but also chuckles at the absurdity of what is happening. Because we chuckle at it ourselves.
And yet the case is real. People are being summoned for questioning. Everyone's accounts have been frozen. We regularly have to deal with questions like, "How am I supposed to pay my loan if my bank card has been blocked?" Computers and phones have been taken away.
One person had her child benefit payments blocked.
Another had their survivor's pension blocked.
The most infuriating part is the TV propaganda machine. They lie through it about ACF, "foreign agents," bitcoin, and so on, and 30% believe this nonsense.
That is what we do not want to allow. ACF is the most honest and transparent organization in the country.
We need help. Tell people where our money comes from and who is really behind us.
