Alexei Navalny, who has been receiving treatment at Berlin’s Charité university hospital since last weekend, is in stable condition.
The symptoms of the cholinergic crisis caused by cholinesterase inhibition are subsiding. The patient remains in intensive care in an induced coma and on mechanical ventilation. His condition remains serious, but there is currently no acute danger to his life. As before, it is not yet possible to predict the long-term effects of the poisoning.
The treating physicians are in constant contact with Yulia Navalnaya. This update on his condition was published by Charité with her consent.
