Alexei does not know this yet and will only find out on Monday, but the film *Navalny* won two awards at the Sundance Film Festival: the Audience Award for Best Documentary and the Festival Favorite Award. The first award is the more traditional one: it is presented each year to the documentary that ranks first in audience voting among all documentary films. The second award, however, is exceptional; it had not been presented for many years. It means that, according to viewers, *Navalny* outperformed not only all the documentaries, but all the feature films at the festival as well—that is, the other 84 films. Sundance is the most prestigious festival in the world of documentary cinema, so winning two awards there at once is a tremendous honor. Many thanks to director Daniel Roher @daniel_roher and to the entire team that worked on the film!
