My daughter asked what "matchmaker Baba Babarikha" means. That question bothered me as a child too. I told her it was "a woman named Babarikha who works as a matchmaker," but just in case I decided to look it up on the almighty internet. Turns out she’s Gvidon’s grandmother and Tsar Saltan’s mother (characters from Pushkin’s *The Tale of Tsar Saltan*). Horrors. How am I supposed to go on living now that my whole system of reference points, values, and basic notions has collapsed?
